I don’t know about you, but I sometimes do appreciate knowing where a story goes, and how it ends. It feels like some sort of connection to the author, and not necessarily only to the story.
For a long time, I thought that was a writer’s thing, a sort of bond between those who have to squeeze concise stories out of their brains and into a world of expectations by possible readers.
Then, of course, some internet forum blasted the term “spoiler paradox” into my brain. I found that my thoughts were at least not far off but still not quite there a hundred percent either.
